The HTV-Vibration Table is ideal for feeding bark, chips, blocks on to a conveyor system. The flow rate is variable and the feed speed is adjusted to match the material and installation. Max. table width & length is 3500 x 6000 mm. The vibrating table is tailor-made to each application.
Scanhugger vibrating conveyors can be redesigned as infeed conveyors for wood chippers. They can also be used as chip discharge conveyors for both shredders and chippers. Vibrating conveyors can be mounted with the screening section and metal-free zone for mounting metal detector.
Scanhugger HTB band conveyors are made for chip transport from chippers and shredders. The conveyor through can be fitted with a non-magnetic section for mounting over band magnet or a metal-free zone for mounting metal detector. The conveyors are made to customer specifications.
Scanhugger augers/screw conveyors with a helical screw blade are used as a chip transport discharge system, often from a shredder and up to a buffer-silo. We produce a special discharge and auger transport systems for our hopper shredders to ensure the optimal balance between performance and running costs.
Metal separation done right.
All our industrial wood shredders and chippers produce a very high quality granulate for the immediate use in wood chip heating systems or to produce briquettes. Metal parts such as nails, screws, clamps or metal fittings are no problem for the cutting system in the HL-series: The metal is shredded together with the waste wood and can then easily be removed by an additional over band magnet, tube magnet or drum separation system. No matter your preferred output we got you covered.
For efficient separation of ferrous metal parts from a stream of chips. Scanhugger HTBM overbandmagnet is installed perpendicular to the material flow or in-line with a conveyor at a transfer point. The overbandmagnet is placed over the belt conveyor / vibrating conveyor. The permanent magnet removes all ferrous particles from the material flow passing underneath it. The overbandmagnets ribbed conveyor belt transports the metal parts to the side of the belt conveyor/ vibrating conveyor and the iron particles drop into a collecting tray or box.
Scanhugger HRS tube magnets have been specially developed for thorough removal of ferrous metal parts from materials in granular form during transport in pipeline systems. The tube magnet has a steel housing with a cylindrical magnet core mounted in the center of the housing. The material spreads around the magnet core and the ferrous metal parts are separated. The tube magnets are fitted with flanges so they, after mounting forms a single unit with the pipeline system. Tube magnets must be mounted in a vertical position, it gives the best distribution of the material and an optimal separation. There is access to the magnet core through a side door in the housing. The magnet core is mounted on a base attached to the door, and the magnet core swings out when the door is opened. The Scanhugger HRS tube magnets are available in 3 standard sizes HRS 150, HRS 200 and HRS 250. They are designed to be mounted in connection to The Scanhugger Shredders HL 2 – 4 series.
The Scanhugger HSD – drum separator is designed to remove iron parts from a flow of chips. The drum separator is used in connection with band conveyor, chip augers and chain conveyors. The drum separator consists of a stainless steel housing and a rotating drum. The drum is made of two parts, a stationary core with a 180-degree magnetic sector and a rotating shell. The drum rotation follows the material flow and the iron parts remain on the drum until they leave the magnetic field and drops onto the discharge chute. The position of the magnetic field is adjustable using the stationary stub shaft.
